When you join a Toastmasters Club, as ours, you get two Manuals and one if it is the Competent Communicator's Manual with ten projects in growing expertise.
One by one you got to prepare and deliver the next speech.
In very short summary:
1. Speak about yourself
2. Organize your speech
3. Make a point
4. Tell it clearly
5. Add body language
6. Tell with voice variety
7. Use visuals
8. Research it
9. Persuade us
10. Inspire us
When you have delivered the ten speech projects, you become Competent Communicator, as our two members in the photo just did in May and June this year. A great event!
Now they will be receiving two Advanced Manuals they choose and begin the next level.
