A laugh a minute




Ha ha ha, ho ho ho, he he he!

How many more laughing sounds can you recognise?

If you have to think about that, then perhaps we can help jog your memory by inviting you to our humorous speech contest on Wednesday 18th September.

We will have 6 speakers whose main purpose is to make you laugh whilst hopefully imparting a serious message to us.

We then have a table topics round where 4 participants are given a topic and the have to spontaneously respond to that topic – again in a way that make the audience cry with laughter.

There can only be one winner for each section and the winner laughs all the way to the next competition round competing against other clubs in the district.

    I think all participants are winners, not only the one who the judges decide as the first. They stand up, they do all better then usual. They create something new. Learn by preparing it and also by participating.

    I heard this first from Philip, then our past President and Area President 35, at the contest, and year by year it is proved true.
