Didn't we have a great evening on Wednesday this week! Another great turn out, and lots of guests that came to the evening too, all adding to the energy and excitement of the evening.
We were privaledged to be led by our highly competant Toastmaster, Vivienne, who had clearly well prepared for the evening, Which meant we had a throughly entertaining evening. By doing her homework well in advance by asking whether we liked our work or not, we all got to find out a little bit more about each other which contributed to the warmth of the evening.
I enjoyed all the speeches very much. It was clear that all speakers had put huge efforts into crafting their speeches, and this was evidenced in the pure quality of speeches we had from all our speakers.
Manoj had a real challenge, with the sheer volume and number of Table Topic contestants, but he handled it with cool calm and expert composure.
Serena has come a long way, and her evaluations were accurate, well structured, and useful, she had excellent composure, and stage presence.
Well done to Jason, our time keeper of the evening, who kept us from going too far astray on the time!
Thanks to Zhanna and who kept us up to speed on use of filler words. Her usual diligence to her role, made sure that we all received quality feedback.
thanks to John whose sharp listening skills, drew our attention to the artful use of words and expressions that we had listened to throughout the evening.
Well done to our remaining role holders who all contributed to the richness of the evening.
so whats been happening, and what going to happen next? Lets take a look at the agenda:
